Art & Media
I have worked with the arts my whole life. I paint and write, and at
different times I have dabbled in music production, film, and spent
solid years studying photography while living in Romania. During my
time there, I held several art galleries, and my artwork appeared on
the covers of books and in various magazines. It has always been a
dream of mine to have my own exhibition here in the UK—though, for
now, the walls of my home serve as my personal gallery.
Another aspiration is to get involved in TV and film production or acting,
whether for scientific and documentary projects or purely for entertainment.
One of my favourite experiences so far has been working on the production
of Family Brain Games, where I was both on set and behind the scenes
as one of the scientists, building on our cognitive testing technology,
Cognitron. I would love to continue using the small screen to communicate
science, share my feelings about it, and illuminate the process that
drives discovery. Ultimately, I believe that art, film and television
can be powerful tools for engaging people—merging creativity with evidence-based
insights to inspire curiosity and dialogue about the world around us.
